What I love about visiting San Francisco is that there is always the chance you'll spot something totally off-the-wall and this is the perfect example. It's a small garden with lots of lost or donated shoes planted with flowers into a beautiful and quirky offering!

Interested in shoes? If so you simply must go here! The store itself is quirky and the shoes are so comfortable. I ended up with two pairs!

This museum is dedicated to the history of shoes. Yes, it's a bit odd, but certainly not something you would find in any other locality. There are 10,000 pair of shoes on display from ancient to modern times, along with rich stories and companion exhibits. The museum is located in an award-winning structure and is child-friendly, so you can bring your whole family to enjoy the whimsical displays and activities, all surrounding the story of shoes. The Museum Shop is filled with lots of souvenirs relating to shoes, so you will be able to find some really unique gifts. Highly recommended!
