This is the Japanese district in Sao Paulo and grew up after the influx of Japanese immigrants after WWII. Its especially worth going on a Sunday morning when there's a bustling market here.

The Queen Victoria Market was founded in 1878 and is housed in a beautiful old structure. You can buy pretty much everything here and it's definitely not just a tourist affair. There are clothes, food and flowers on sale. There are also souveneir stalls and its worth having a go at bartering.

Ladies Street hosts a bazaar selling a lot of replica wear and isn't a top attraction by day, but by night it really comes alive with lights and general bustle.

This is Lisbon's central boulevard and a must see. As well as some historic monuments, It is a great spot for some shopping- or window shopping, if like me you can't afford most of the designer brands on sale!
