I just love this magnificent building, I never knew it was 9 skyscrapers in 1 until I saw it up close. The skydeck is amazing, and although my boyfriend made it out onto the "ledge" I was far too afraid!!

Our children wre totally dumbfounded that you could tell the time using a building, until we let them in on the secret code of numbers and bars that this building uses to show the city the time. And then they were obsessed with telling us the time. A great talking point!

The Sears Tower is the tallest building in the United States, rising 1,450 feet into the air. Visitors can take the elevator up to the 103rd floor skydeck for a spectacular view of the states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Wisconsin, as well as the expansive Lake Michigan. At that height, you can feel the building sway in the wind. This is the best place to see the beautiful steel skyline of Chicago. You can book your tickets online to avoid delays and special packages are available. Do not miss a visit to the skydeck while in Chicago. You will be very impressed.
