Cape Town Stadium

I really enjoyed the SA World Cup (apart from England obviously) and couldn't pass up the opportunity to go to the Stadium in Cape Town. Marvellous facilities, adn the views from around the stadium were ever bit as amazing up to Table Mountain as I was hoping they'd be.

In the magnificent Bernabeu, this museum is everything you need to know about the iconic football club. I even learned that they have their very own basketball team!!

Panathenaic Stadium

Being a huge fan of the olympics I was so excited to go to the stadium that held the first modern-day event, built on no less sacred ground than the original stadium. I also remembered it from the recent Athens games. What a wonderful arena, I can only imagine how exciting it would have been to compete.

Estadio Algarve

My mates and I were lucky enough to see a couple of matches here at Euro 2004 and so when we came back for a holiday we just had to visit. The design of the stadium is really great, with two 'sails' making it look like it's a huge insect or something!

Croke Park Experience

posted by jbasinger on 4 November 2010 at 16:46

My boyfriend and I went here and loved it. So much history is wrapped up here and as well it was really fun to try our hand at some of the sports with interactive games (only a slight competitive edge...ahem). Maybe one day we'll ge to go back to the VIP suites to wathc a match, oh it's good to have a dream.
