Beule Gate
posted by shravyareddy on 15 July 2009 at 07:45
The Acropolis is entered by th Beule gate. The west side of the Propylaia is the real entrance here admission tickets are sold. The gate was built in the 280 B.C . of material from the monument of Nikias and other structures. It has two flanking towers. It is linked by the broad marble staircase. That was built in the reign of the Emperor Septimius Severus. It is very good place to see.
