I don't really like skyscrapers but I do like views so this is perfect, this hill used to offer the best views in the city until the monstrosities arrived, and today it's free to go there! Definitely try to go when you go to Bangkok.

Look out for the gold spike of Wat Saket and climb as high as you can! It's very centrally located!

The Temple of the Reclining Buddha was simply gorgeous. The colours were amazing, the details so pretty and then came the huge gold buddha, majestic. There are lots of temples vying for your attention here but this was my pick of the bunch!

I was totally blown away by all the architecture in Thailand, so different to that in the UK or even anywhere in Europe, so delicate, intricate and yet striking. I loved this temple the best, the spire is just so intriguing with all its glass and porclain. Try to visit it once in the night time too when it looks beautiful all lit up.

Absolutely stunning temple, in the most crazy of locations, right next to a humongous mall! I loved all the flower stalls which gave the air a heady smell, and the huge Bhodi tree with Buddha. The inside is even more amazing if that's possible.

Mid-Valley, train station of the same name, you'll probably see the mall first!!

I went here on a conference in Hong Kong as i'd been told it would help with my PhD. Well....I did pray to the God of Literature, and I did pass my PhD so maybe it's directly related! In any case, it's a beautiful place to visit, I love the distinctive yellow but if you're allergic to incense then this is deinitely not for you!!
