Speaking to a couple in our hotel, they recommended a grotto tour and I'm glad they did! Sailing around all the rock formations and spotting little beaches and interesting things was such fun, and the caves are amazing too. Just great.

My man and I took a tour to Girona and Figueras one day when we were in Barcelona, and we thorougly enjoyed it, as well as the chance to see a bit of the catalan countryside. The jewish quarter walking tour in Girona was fabulous but the Teatre Museu Dali was the highlight of the day without a doubt.

After a bit of sun, but not wanting to just lie on the beach, my wife and I booked a walking holiday in Tenerife, with hotels and car all included. We went for the twin centre one so we saw the east and the west of the island and it was so peaceful and stunning and we felt we really saw the best of the place.

My teens are suckers for anything ghost-related so we had to go here, under the South Bridge to see the vaults and see if we could 'feel' anything. I just felt sorry for the handful of people who once called one of the vaults home. Defnintely do the night tour, it's really atmospheric!

Totally amazing experience, the zoo is really different at night and because you get a guided tour it's a whole new way to learn about the animals. The giraffe are surprisingly sweet, but the big cats, brrrr, man are they scary! Booking is essential.
