Baz Bus

This bus is fantastic! You buy a ticket for a certain route and then you can get off anywhere along that route and get on another bus when you're ready to move to the next place. The buses are very comfy and safe. They even drop you off at your hotel.

Montjuic Cable Car

posted by lilith on 9 January 2007 at 11:03

After hiking up Montjuic to the castle crowning the top, the quickest way back down is definitely the cable car. Even though there was a half an hour wait to get on (only about 20 passengers can be taken on to the cable car at a time), it was well worth it, since we ended up getting on the cable car around sunset. Needless to say, the view was breath taking. From the wide windows of the car the entire harbour could be seen, with great views of the ocean, the city of Barcelona, La Ramblas and the port on the other side framed by a white beach. Costs 7.50 Euros for the single ticket. Operates daily 11:30am-9pm
