If you are looking to get a panoramic view of the French Riviera, I have found no spots more beautiful than Castle Hill in Nice. Once you get to the top, although it is 100 steps, there is a small playground, some great stone works, and one of the most spectacular views you will ever see.

It is a rotating Restaurant and Bar on the 37th floor of a tower located in the heart of Sydney. It has a great atmosphere and stunning views ideal for a celebration or special occasion.

This is the place to go if you want a great view of Sydney, coupled with some of the most authentic Australian food in the metropolitan area. The Buena Vista Café Bar also offers a complete selection of regional wine, so if you have to pick one place to eat in Sydney, this is it. The menu selection is very well rounded, with breakfast, lunch and dinner offerings. You can find local meat and seafood as well as seasonal specialties, which is why you would want to dine here. But the view is really what captures me. Bring your camera!

This is the terrific, giant "Ferris Wheel" that towers over the Thames and can be seen from just about anywhere in London. Conversely, you can see just about all of London from The Eye. It's a "must do," preferably at the beginning of your London visit. It'll give you an eagle's eye view of the city you're about to discover. If you already know London but haven't tried the Eye, you'll appreciate seeing your favorite places from this fabulous perspective. If you balk at the fare, it's worth every penny. The only way to get a better view is to hire helicopter. The Eye is also very accessible, so if you have a mobility issue, it shouldn't be a problem at all. The operators actually stop the Eye so that getting on and off is a breeze. There are ramps, disabled discounts, and something called the Fast Track which means you don't have to wait in a long line to board.

This is the coolest library I've ever seen. It is six stories and holds an amazing amount of reading material. But the draw for travelers is the viewing platform. That is a really neat way to view the area. The new atrium is also a treat.
