On one of my excursions around Edinburgh, I happened to come across Arthur’s Seat, which is located in the middle of the city’s Holyrood Park. Surprisingly, this small hill is all that remains of a now extinct volcano, as I never had heard of any volcanoes anywhere other than near the Pacific. There is also a great view once you climb to the top.

In the city that never sleeps, this restaurant will provide you with some excellent food and beverages for your pleasure. The design of the place resembles a French bar.You can enjoy the view of the Strip and taste some carefully prepared food, from many international cuisines.I personally quite liked the shrimps roasted over banana leafs! The staff is very polite and welcoming and will cater to your needs!

There are two options here, the Bridge Climb and the Discovery Climb. The Bridge Climb takes you all the way to the top of the Harbour Bridge. It takes you to a unique view above the city that you will not forget. You can go in a group and it is exhilarating to actually be up on the bridge. Once you get to the top, it is all worth it. It is like a city hike.

Breathtaking and magnificent are the words that come to mind after taking a trip to the top of Table Mountain. This is one of the most spectacular views you will ever see from the top of any mountain (and I've been to several). As you ascend to the top in the rotating cable car, you are able to take in the entire landscape of Cape Town and the surrounding area. The ride is about 10 minutes, but it goes by quickly. Once you get to the top, there is a great little cafe where you can get a good meal while still enjoying the view. There are also several nature walks at the top of the mountain, which provides opportunities to see local flower, fauna and animal life. This is a great family activity and one point of interest you won't soon forget.

The CN Tower rises 1,815 in the air and is Canada's tallest building and one of the tallest buildings in the world. Built by the Canadian National, it is federally owned. The view from the observation deck or from the 360 Revolving Restaurant is spectacular, so this has to be on your short list of sites to see when visiting Toronto. This attraction is appropriate and appreciated by almost all ages (except the tiny ones, who can't appreciate the views). But I think any child from about five years of age or older will love to see the magnificent city of Toronto shine below. Eating in the restaurant is a real treat, but be prepared to spend a lot of money. Still, if you are going to have one nice meal while on vacation, this is the place to splurge. I am always in awe of tall buildings and observation decks, so this is my favorite tourist spot in Toronto.
