This looks like a mini eiffel tower and the views are really excellent from the top of it. It's exciting to get there too as the funicular has different views and a slightly scary feel. Don't forget to look round the gardens there too.

My boyfriend took me on this and I totally loved it. The balloon won't fly away as it's tied to the ground so you can just feel safe and enjoy the views of the strip, which are amazing. We really liked the waiting area too with quirky balloon ride facts and a lovely sculpture area.

The images from the Barcelona Olympics in 1992 are some of the most memorable I've ever seen , particularly the high diving board and to go to the communication tower that made this possible and see the great views was the highlight of my trip. And worth it just for the lift ascent too! Perfect.

The climb to Peth Village is fairly easy going and affords you incredible views of some beautiful surrounding scenery. There are waterfalls along the way and you get great vistas out over surrounding plains, mountain ranges and valleys.

This is the highest point in Auckland, reaching nearly 200m. There are walking trails through the thick native vegitation up to the peak where you get spectactular views over the city, including the Sky Tower. You can go up at any hour and I'd definitely recommend going up at night time when the city lights are really beautiful.
