Such fun! The views are great and there's plenty to keep the kids occupied. And nice to get out in the fresh air. The fugde is amazing too.

Table Mountain Climbing

There are apparently 350 different routes to the top of Table Mountain ranging between the relatively sedate and the utterly perilous. We took one of the former and it took about 3 and a half hours to get to the top. The views and sense of self satisfaction made the ordeal worthwhile.

Torcello

My wife and I visited this island and it was near-deserted apart from plenty of cats. Going up the campanile is a must for great views and the churches there are really pretty. All in all makes for a good short trip, and help get a fuller picture of life in venice.

Rock of Ifach

I guess this trip isn't one for those who want to mostly sunbathe, since it's a good hour's drive away north of Benidorm but the town of Calpe is great and the rock and park are really lovely. i've not tried scaling the outside though, seems like too much hard work for a holiday when you can just use the tunnel and emerge to stunning views.

Christ Statue

Standing over Lisbon, like in Rio de Janeiro, is a huge statue of Christ, arms outstretched. The views from the top are incredible, you can see the whole of lisbon and the two huge briges
