This is a beautiful village that really makes you feel like you've travelled to the heart of Spain. Great views and plenty to see when you get here with loads of picture-postcard spots.

Inland from Marbella by about half an hour, the roads get pretty winding!

My wife and I took a trip away from the coast to see this lovely village and its traditional windmill. What a relaxing spot, perfect for buying souvenirs and for having a long and lazy lunch.

The kids and I had a super day here. The village is idyllic, with no cars and so many artisans you can hardly walk two metres without meeting another! We got some wonderful souvenirs and enjoyed a delicious lunch in the main square.

Just outside Geneva city itself, this is the more arty and fun side of the place. A village modelled on Nice, it's the place to go for art, crafts, shopping boutiques and nightlife.

South of Geneva, just over the river l'Arle (one stop on the train)

We wanted to experience the weather in the area but away from one of the heavily touristy areas and we ended up here. A lovely historical fishing village with beautiful beaches and some lovely Lycian ruins in the vicinity.

where, when, how, web
It's about a 4 hour transfer from Antalya Airport but totally worth it.
