Antigua

Such a gorgeous village! The church, the windmill, the town square, all looked like they belonged on a chocolate box! Or whatever the Spanish equivalent is. It's a really lovely place to go for lunch, and watch out for flyers telling you when the market is....we went and it was going to be the next day d'oh!

A great place to base a more independent holiday on this island, which, for all its charms, is overrun with package holidays. Here though you can head to the lovely beach, enjoy some real greek cuisine,or take one of the delightful day trips!

We took a day trip here to soak up the cleveness and get a peek at Harvard. What a lovely place, so elegant and learned!!

Torba

We fancied a change in beaches for the day and out guide recommended the beach in Torba which was a short taxi ride away and I must say that it's simply stunning there, definitely worth the extra hassle of getting there.

We took a walk along the promenade here one day and it's lovely, well worth doing. Such a lovely little village, and just beautiful things everywhere you look.
