A delightful village and a must for anyone who wants to experience what the real fuerteventura is all about. The restored Govenor's house is lovely, and the church is sooo pretty, the frescoes are amazing! Totally unexpected! Don't forget to sample some local food and pop into the art centre offering work from local artists.

I think this might be the most stunning place i've ever been. I could look at the Blue Lagoon for hours, in fact it's my new desktop background so I can visit whenever I want! Definitely somewhere to stop off for a swin if you're in the area.

The kids had such a fun day out here, learning about the past life of the island's inhabitants. Such a beautiful place to visit, and so peaceful too. The guides were friends and interesting, but it's probably not for really young children.

Lanzarote has a bewitching quality that keeps tempting me back, and this time my boyfriend and drove to Femes, where we were told to expect some of the best views on the island. And we were not disappointed. You can see fuerteventura and los lobos from this characterful town. I could sit ad look st such views for a very long time.

My friends and my partner and I went here for a day trip to see a bit of the interior having heard how lush and green it is. We weren't diappointed, it was lovely, the greenery, the views across the valley (ignore the new houses, an eyesore for sure) and the delightful old town. The El Greco House was the highlight of the day, but the churches are worth seeking out too.
