All the horribel things I learned about the Vietnam conflict came flooding back when I stood by this memorail. What a powerful place, really important that such things are never forgotten.

International Red Cross and Red Crescent Museum

I think this is the museum that's made the most lasting impression on me, or second only to Amsterdam's Anne Frank House. A wonderfil combination of sculpture, film, photography and artefacts highlight the importance of human rights, conflict in the world and the excellent work that the Red Cross do.

USS Constitution

As nothing really but a grown-up boy I had to drag my girlfriend here against her protests but it was truly the highlight of my trip. I loved ships, particularly war ships as a child and this one lived up to my dreams. The sailors who fought in it sure were brave!

We saw this first at night when we drove past and and the lighting really sets off the fabulous architecture. The museum is really interesting too, there's so much about New Zealand that I never knew!

My friends and I took our War and Peace inspired selves to the Borodino Panormana Museum. The panoramic war images are an excellent backdrop to the artefacts from the napoleonic wars and the whole thing was really interesting
