Not quite your average water park where plastic reign supreme, here the emphasis is more on water sports and more natural adventrues, although there are some slides too. Banana boating was such fun, and next time I am DEFINITELY going waterskiing!!

Benitses is a pretty tourist resort. We had a great week here doing watersports on the beach, enjoying some fantastic sea food and having a riotous time in the evenings at the town's many bars and music venues.

After a while we came to find Cancun too much and headed out to Puerto Morelos which isn't too far away. The beach was completely empty and we got a lift in a launch out to the reef where we were able to do some snorkelling which was really magical and beautiful. well worth the trip
