What a wonderful experience! It's all about the native creatures here and you can really get all up-close and personal with them too. The photo of me and the koala on the rooftop will probably be my facebbok profile picture for ever!

There is no better place to take kids than a safari park in my mind, and this one is great. You can get the tram for a tour and then go and explore on the walking trails too, plenty for a day out that will have them sleeping soundly!

The Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay is pretty cool. You get to walk around in a massive length of tube and look out as these terrifying and enormous creatures swim all around you. I've heard people say they thought it was a bit of a rip off. It is $15 dollars and I guess you spend about 15 minutes walking around it, so if you weren't really excited by the sharks it would seem like a bit of a swindle.

Wonderful nature reserve with gorgeous beaches, a great lansdcape, pretty walks and plenty of local wildlife to look out for, we spent most of our time exploring and relaxing in this park.

Seattle is so child-friendly! We loved our trip to this animal park, the bison are fantastic creatures, amazing how close you can get to some of them, thankfully not the scariest inhabitants though!! Plenty to keep the little ones amused all day.
