My mates and I took a free bus to the Jardines de Atlantico and took the english-speaking tour of the banana plantation. The water-cycle of tenerife model was fun and the nanan-related gift shop was great!

I was gobsmacked to find out that Teide, Tenerife's volcano is the third biggest in the world. Thankfully it has not erupted since 1798. It is now surrounded by the Teide National Park. If you make it to the top you will be rewarded with stunning views of other canary islands: Hierro, La Gomera or Gran Canaria.

This resort is the best on the island of Tenerife. We stayed for a week and neither of us wanted to leave. With a spectacular situation on the South West Coast. The private beach is lovely and the one of the resorts restaurants MB has just been awarded a Michelin star!

My fiance and I spent a glorious week here staying in an apartment. The staff are really helpful, friendly and maintain the resort to a high standard. There is a beutiful pool plus a range of other activities on offer including hiking tours, water sports and golf. The setting offers some of the best views of the islands coastline.

We stumbled across this shop in Santa Cruz which exclusively sells hand made items including ceramics, embroidery, wickerwork and textiles. This is the best place on the island to shop for authentic souvenirs.
