This has the largest volcanic cavity in the world in Cueva del Viento and has some unique flora and fauna, and as a bonus you can also see the ancient dragon tree (~800 years old!) about which so many myths have sprung up. A great and unforgettable place to go.

we were told about this place where a mythical ancient civilisation were supposed to have lived, their mark being these 6 pyramids make of lava stone. The area is great for a visit as it's really interesting but further research suggests that they are probably from the 19th century bout founded on a really old cave. I'd love to see the double sunset that happens there on the summer solstice!
