We were a bit worried our resort would be all about being quiet because of the name but it totally wasn't the case! We had a great time, loads of laughs and met some super cool new people ;)

There's a lot to recommend this place but I'd say the best thing about it is the incredible animation programme - getting people involved in games and activities. We took our six year old son and he had a great time taking part in games with the other kids and even came back one day with a certificate for being on the winning team!

Hotel Jardin Tropical

Two massive recommendations for this place 1) There are five restaurants, all incredible and all unique, serving a selection of regional and international cuisine. Las Mimosas is the biggest restaurant and has buffet style banquets. El Patio was my favourite restaurant with a great a la carte menu. 2) The swimming pools. These are set amidst some incredibly landscaped tropical gardens. There are two large pools and a salt water pool. I thoroughly recommend you stay here.

Playa de las Americas

Yes it can get very touristy here, but with good reason. Playa de las Americas has some incredibly beautiful beaches with pristine sand. They're all very well kept too and very clean.

On first impression the hotel was huge. The place was so clean and the atmosphere relaxed with helpful staff. The most important, the food was really amazing- great variety for all tastes and the drinks was lovely.
