You can't come to Tenerife and not go to the volcanic centre! We joined a group tour to the top and it was great, informative and we got to stop off and take pictures at all the loveliest spots.

Los Gigantes

We were staying here for a week and I was rather perpelxed for a while as the tour bus rolled in and I saw nothing. Of course, I was on the wrong side of the bus and actually the hige cliffs are a spectacular sight!! We took some lovely boat trips and got to see some wonderful spots in the area, as well as getting to feel small and insignificant at the foot of "The Giants"

Teide

If you get fed up with the humid conditions of the coast and languishing on the beach, escape to Teide, one of the most attractive wastelands I've ever seen. The volcano is nearly 4000 metres high and is apparently the third highest in the world. You can get a cable car up the volcano during daylight hours and its well worth doing.

Golf Las Americas

I think this is the most visually appealing golf course i've ever played on. Lovely course, great greens and the clubs I hired were pretty good for hire clubs! A different but really enjoyable way to spend half a day, shame nobody else wanted to come with me...

This is a small village in Tenerife and we took a tour here on our holidays there. Up in the mountains the views are great, and I loved the really old tree. The buildings are so cute and I got some great souvenirs for my family here.
