Mount Teide National Park

You can't come to Tenerife and not go to the volcanic centre! We joined a group tour to the top and it was great, informative and we got to stop off and take pictures at all the loveliest spots.

Teide Volcano

I was gobsmacked to find out that Teide, Tenerife's volcano is the third biggest in the world. Thankfully it has not erupted since 1798. It is now surrounded by the Teide National Park. If you make it to the top you will be rewarded with stunning views of other canary islands: Hierro, La Gomera or Gran Canaria.

Teide National Park

I went here for the day with my boyfriend and we walked about marvelling at the weird landscape and spotting lizards! I loved the crazy and awesome plants they have there too. I'd love to go back and try the cable car to the top of the volcano.

Centre of Tenefire, we drove our rental car but i think buses go there too.

Parque Nacional Las Canadas del Teide

This park surrounds Mount Teide. Mount Teide is a volcanic mountain, and the highest peak in Spain. Mount Teide offers scenic views of La Gomera. There is a lot of unique vegetation and plant life on Mount Teide.
