A haven of fun science and maths! I know. It sounds like a joke, but it's true. So much to see and do, loads of fun!

Stunning collection of Chinese, Japanese and Korean antiquities shown off in a state-of-the-art building. Don't forget to go to the garden too, it was my wife's highlight of the day!

Getting down to the water really gives you another perspective on what makes this city tick...the waterways. You can see all sorts of things like fishermen, floating restaurants and even barges carrying all the rubbish! yum!

Absolutely beautiful spot. You wouldn't know the shrine was a reconstruction (destroyed in the war) and the gardens area worth going for them alone!

It seems odd that in the middle of all the new cultural things I've been experiencing in Japan that I could see a European fine art collection, and an excellent one at that! But it's here and it's great!
