Stunning collection of Chinese, Japanese and Korean antiquities shown off in a state-of-the-art building. Don't forget to go to the garden too, it was my wife's highlight of the day!

Fascinating place about the Edo era in Japan. Loads to see and learn here and it's a great introduction to the unique culture they have here.

Whenever we go on holiday my girlfriend and I always end up gravitating towards the parks for some space and reflection. This park is small but peaceful, and as an added bonus has the Studio Ghibli Museum in it, lovely to see all the displays there.

We found out we were staying right by this museum so we had to go in! It's mostly just the blades but they are really beautifual, I would have liked to see more hilts though, i'd imagined it like that bit in kill bill when uma thurman goes to pick a sword, but it's not quite! Really interesting though and certainly worth a look if you're nearby.

First off this looks like a floating polaroid camera, but it's meant to be inspired by an old storehouse in the kurazukuri style! Inside it really is fascinating, offering insights into japanese culture over the years. I liked the Kabuki theatre best, as did my children, although the traditional japanese house was also great.
