St Lawrence Market

Ranked amongst the best food markets in the world, we were so pleased to discover that by chance our hotel was just around the corner. As you can imagine we spent quite some time here and sampled many of the delicious dishes. Don't forget to check out the art gallery upstairs!

We were strongly advised to go to this market - voted as one of the worlds best food markets, in the heart of the historic old town. The ground floor is dedicated to food stalls with the mezzanine hosting pop up art stalls and antiques.

This is great place to wander about, buy some tasty things to eat or just sit and watch the world go by. There's a great art exhibition space there too where you can buy the works and last time I got a great piece that reminds me of my lovely holiday every time I look at at it.
