The Capilano Suspension bridge is the longest suspension bridge in the world and crosses through some incredibly beautiful scenery, surrounded on both sides by redwood trees which are enormous and really old. The bone that i have to pick though is that it costs $30 per person which is an extraordinary amount of money to cross a bridge, a distance that takes about ten minutes to walk there and back.

Lynn Canyon is a beautiful area of dramatic landscapes and evergree trees the 30 ft crystal clear pool on the way down the canyon was a particular highlight for me and then of course, there's the nerveracking suspension bridge which was a much more bittersweet experience!

Stanley Park must be fairly unique. Its an absolutely enormous park in the middle of downtown Vancouver and a place best explored on bicycles. Vancouver is a real city of cyclists and its easy to rent bikes. The park is full of flowers, memorials and totem poles comemorating the aboriginal people of this region. You can get some stunning views of Lion's Gate Bridge from the park too.
