Seymour Conservation Reserve

We were told about this by the people whose house we were house-swapping with and it's a lovely place to go to. I love the loop around the lake best.

My man and me went here for the afternoon and had a great time, we skimmed stones on the beach and chatted to some scuba guys, who offered us a go but we didn't have anything with us sadly, next time...

Stanley Park

posted by rstainforth on 18 August 2010 at 16:56

Stanley Park must be fairly unique. Its an absolutely enormous park in the middle of downtown Vancouver and a place best explored on bicycles. Vancouver is a real city of cyclists and its easy to rent bikes. The park is full of flowers, memorials and totem poles comemorating the aboriginal people of this region. You can get some stunning views of Lion's Gate Bridge from the park too.
