Known in the past as The Island Of The Dead because Napoleon used it as a graveyard, half is still cemetery today where plenty of famous people have been buried, such as Stravinsky. Elswehere there is a monastery and the lovely Emiliana Chapel, so nice to explore some of the other islands!

Oratorio dei Crociferi

I adore the cannaregio district and every time I go I try to wander through it differently and find something new, and this is what i foiund last time. This small chapel is covered with paintings by Palma il Giovane which are absolutely stunning. I was standing there all alone thinking if this was somewhere else it'd be rammed!
