A very sweet and endearing spot in the hustle and bustle of touristy Venice. We caught a Vivaldi concert here later in our holiday as well. Delightful.

My favourite part of Venice (although the choice is a difficult one), the beautiful dome, the lovely interior. It's so grand! Make sure you stop by at night too.

You would not believe the amount of important artworks that adorn these walls. With the second tallest campanile in the city, the church is magnificent, and an excellent alternative to the much busier Santi Giovanni e Paolo. You must go!

St Mark's Basilica

Stunning outside and practically mind-blowing from the inside, the amount of gold, mosaics, and work that must have gone into creating it just boggles the brain! By far and away the highlight of my Venice trip.

If you're on a shoestring budget in Venice then you have to go here. It's a snip to get in and it's a feast for the eyes. So much to seem with some amazing paintings inside. Wonderful place.
