Stunning architecture and opulent decor, plus an informative museum on clothing. I loved it here, just walking around imagining what it would have been like to live here years ago.

My husband was really keen to go here having hear about Tintoretto's paintings, but I needed convincing...and then the paintings were so amazing I couldn't believe i'd nearly gone shopping instead! They really are something a bit special!

Worth going in for the ballroom alone, they are magnificently decorated, my favourite one was the one featuring anthony and cleopatra. it's astonishing to think this was a private home, and how much money they must have had!
