So far exceeded my expectations! I loved it in here, the mosaics, the gold, the opulence, the beauty, it's simply stunning. I could have stayed all day.

Torre dell'Oroglio

This clock face is famous for being smashed in the Bond film Moonraker and so I had to visit it. The climb is steep and narrow and there's no lift but you get a facinating look at the workings of the clock as well as the reward of an amazing view of San Marco Square from the top.

Going here feels like a quintessential experience and I loved every minute of it. You can almost taste the history in the fantstic collection. Great.

St Mark's Square

What's not to love about the heart of Venice? Well, maybe the prices, drinks on the square are a tad steep but who can argue with the view? Lovely lovely lovely.

Campanile San Marco

I guess it's a bit of a touristy thing to do really, I didn't see many locals up there, but I absolutely adored it. So often you see photos and paintings of St Marks square so I'd already felt like i'd seen it, but this gave me a whole new perspective. Magnificent.
