In my opinion this is the best place in Venice. The climb means you weed out the slow walkers and then you get to see the spectacular sights from up on high. Beautiful.

I think I could probably go up and down here all day! I love to watch the lovely architecture go by, particularly at night when it's all lit up and the reflections are glittering.

The cheapest way to get an excellent tour of the city, the route goes right down the grand canal so there's so much to see. Get an ice cream (gelato) and enjoy the view!!

What's not to love about the heart of Venice? Well, maybe the prices, drinks on the square are a tad steep but who can argue with the view? Lovely lovely lovely.

My favourite place for a stroll when I come to Venice, nice to walk by the water and look at all the lovely buildings that you go past, great day or night and always good for a breather from the hectic touristic pace!
