Tunnel is a restaurant right in the middle of the Vienna student district. It's known for excellent and cheap food, as well as exhibitions and live music.

Very unusual apartment block designed by Austrian artist Friedensreich Hundertwasser; organic feel with uneven floors, unusually tiled walls terraces with trees growing in them on various levels of the building, grass on the roof walls and pillars all very colourful and crazy looking. There's a museum there so yo ucan go inside and get a feel for it and buy yourself a souvenir. There are now 3 appartment block in the area of the same style, all are worth a look. A must see if visiting Vienna!

Want to know the London Eye would look like if it had been built in the 19th century? Then you have got to visit Vienna's landmark in the Prater. Take a view of the city from almost 200 feet.

maschu maschu is a kebab restaurant(!) - yes it's a restaurant. And it is said that I got the best Kebab and Falafel in Vienna. It got a great atmosphere and it's really cheap. €3 for a Falafel sandwich with 'Sauerkraut' and €6 for a whole meal.

The first club to take up residence in one of the vaulted arches under Vienna's Stadtbahn, the elevated city railroad system designed by the great Jugendstil architect, Otto Wagner, Chelsea soon triggered a host of restaurants and bars to also open up in these historic sites. Still packed most evenings, Chelsea is primarily a music club and but it also has a mean following with fans of English soccer -- on Sunday at 4 PM there's a Happy Hour with a jumbo-screen televised game.
