United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

What a wonderful and sad place. The memorial is very thought provoking, and I really appreciate the way that genocide in all its forms is also covered. Not great for young kids. Book in advance, tickets are free.

United States Holocaust Memorial Museum

Aimed at documenting the past of the holocause and other genocide with a view to preventing this happening in the future and eliminating hatred, I really loved the sentiment of this place. Carried out with great panache too the museum really packs a punch, definitely a must-see it's thought-provoking and wise.
