This park by the White House is quite fun! You're by the National Mall, you can see the White House and there are some statues etc around as well. Our favourite lunch spot.

What a park! I thought London had parks but this is on another scale altogether, you forget that you're even in the city at all! We hired bikes and followed the 20 mile bike trail and it was a lovely day.

Great park! Amazing views of the falls-rapids of the Pontomac river and we had a lovely day out in the fresh air before back to the sightseeing schedule the next day!

I flew out to visit friends in DC and was totally taken with this park, which juts out into the river so there's plenty of water to see and walk next to. We all skated around on our inlines and had a blast.

An excellent place to get back to nature on your holiday, my wife and I enjoyed a day's hiking in the forest looking out for all manner of wild animals as well as trees that we've not seen before. Then we went to the planetarium to check out one of the shows there. There's so much to discover!
