St Martin's Church

This church is also known as St Martin-le-Grand. It is 15 th century church. The tower was completed in the year 1437. was destroyed by fire as a result of an air raid in 1942. The great window that was depicting thirteen scenes from life of the St Martin of towers it was removed at the beginning of the world war 2. the famous clock, dating back to 1668, was also damaged, but restored to glory in 1966.
