Travel to Zante

Zante (Zakynthos) airport is located in the south of the island near to Laganas. There are regular domestic flights to and from Zante and plenty of charter flights during the peak season. easyJet operates flights to Zante from airports across the UK

On arrival in Zante

With most flights to Zante being charter flights, there are generally good transit bus services to the main resorts. Alternatively, taxis are readily available, and you can also collect car hire at Zante Airport.

Getting around Zante

There are bus services around Zante although these can be irregular and unreliable. By far the easiest way of getting around Zante is by car and there are plenty of Zante car hire companies operating around the island. It's also possible to hire scooters although these can be slightly less resilient on the hills.

Travelling further afield

There are regular ferry services from Agios Nikolas to Kefalonia and from Zakynthos to Kyllini on the Greek mainland.
