Scrolling through your Instagram feed can give you some serious holiday envy. With the amount of travel influencers growing by the second and filling our feeds with magical destinations, we felt it was about time to create a list of some of Instagram’s favourite locations around the world.

 

Bali

 

As the fourth most photographed place in the world, according to Business Insider it’s no wonder Bali is an Insta favourite. From great snaps of the Bali swing and majestic images of the Banyumala Twin Waterfalls, to the gorgeous backdrop of the Hanging Gardens of Bali and its famous infinity pool, it comes as no surprise that Bali is every avid Instagrammer’s guilty pleasure. Wander through the Wanagiri Hidden Hills for shots of the beautiful scenery or go chasing waterfalls at the stunning Kanto Lampo waterfall in Gianyar.

 

London

 

The dynamic culture, historical landmarks and buzzing fashion scene in London make for amazing photo moments to feature on the ‘Gram. Whether you’re going for a coffee at EL&N, brunch in the pink Gallery at Sketch, drinks at Leadenhall Market, or dinner at the Shard you’re sure to find the perfect backdrops to bag those 1,000 likes! For those all-important street shots head to the quirky streets of Notting Hill, the glamorous avenues of Kensington or the ever-busy Oxford Street. Not to mention the iconic red telephone boxes and array of amazing landmarks to snap.

The fast-paced urban jungle that is Tokyo is a very popular and highly tagged destination on Instagram, and for good reason. The city is full of bright lights, innovative buildings and cutting-edge creations, making for great content. Snap a selfie with a robot as you dine at the Robot Restaurant in Shinjuku City or head up to the Shibuya Crossing viewing deck for the ultimate birds-eye photo of the most famous intersection in Japan. Be sure to check out the Sensō-ji Temple, a five-story Buddhist temple located in Asakusa, not only does it photograph beautifully, there is also so much history to learn about this wonderful place.

The magical emirate of Dubai is one of the most glamorous destinations you’ll ever visit. With sky high buildings, unbelievable beaches and unrivalled architecture, it’s an Instagrammer’s dream! You’ll feel as though you’re in the middle of a fairytale at the beautiful Miracle Garden, surrounded by fresh blossoming flowers everywhere you turn. If you fancy a spot of shopping, how about a trip to the Dubai mall – the world’s largest mall? You’ll have plenty of Insta-worthy photo opportunities at this magnificent complex, which is also home to the Burj Khalifa building and the famous Dubai Aquarium.

 

Los Angeles

 

Unsurprisingly, the glitz and glam of LA makes for an extremely popular Instagram destination. From Hollywood’s famous Walk of Fame to the stunning Santa Monica Pier you will not be short of amazing photo opportunities. Sicily

 

This Italian gem tops the list of the most Instagram-worthy locations in Europe. Think secluded beaches, historical towns and breathtaking scenery. If you’re looking for a spot that is picture-worthy and full of history, head to the UNESCO Worth Heritage site – Valley of the Temples. At the centre of Palermo is the Piazza Pretoria which is home to one of Sicily’s most beautiful fountains – the Fontana Pretoria – which is also a great spot for photos. The breathtaking views of the River Canyon are definitely something you’ll want to capture on the ‘Gram. Make your way to the famous St Tropez port where you’re sure to get the perfect yacht shot or maybe even a cheeky glimpse of your favourite celeb! For a mix of amazing architecture, endless green spaces and great beaches, head to Montpellier – one of the largest cities on the south coast of France.
