Flying Between Manchester and Italy
Getting to Italy from Manchester couldn't be simpler, as there are several direct services that link the North Western city with some of Italy's most popular destinations. You can fly with Ryanair to Rome, Trapani Birgi and Milan in around two hours, while Jet2 can have you exploring the beautiful cities of Venice or Pisa within three hours.
Aside from these direct services, you can also fly indirectly to many of Italy's other major cities. For example, Lufthansa and Air France run one-stop services via Frankfurt and Paris respectively to Genoa, while KLM and Alitalia can drop you off in Florence after just once stop and in less than seven hours. Getting Cheap Flights to Italy
Holidaying in Italy is generally at its cheapest during the Autumn period between October and December. As the temperature begins to drop, the demand for flights drops with it, meaning that you can get airfares at a fraction of the mid-summer cost. You will also be free to enjoy some of the world's most famous attractions without the crowds. So if you are prompt with you booking (and you bring a jacket) this could be the best time to visit.
If you want to visit over the summer months, though, there are still cheap flights to Italy to be had with the likes of easyJet and Ryanair who both fly out from Manchester – just make sure you book tickets well in advance for the best prices.
