Top Things to do in Achladies

We're not going to lie to you - there's not a great deal to do in Achladies. You won't find hordes of tourists here scavenging through high street stores and taking up every square inch of the beach. Rather, this is a resort that's devoted to peace, quiet and relaxation. Its small number of hotels means you won't be battling it out for a tiny square of sand or a table for dinner. Your hotel will likely be within walking distance of the beach, and after meals it'll be easy to find your way back to your room.

While away the days on one of the bay's sunbeds, before retreating to one of the nearby tavernas for an afternoon drink. If that doesn't float your boat, head a few kilometres down the road to the island's main town, Skiathos. It's known as a party resort, so you can get your kicks here in the evening, then retreat back to Achladies during the day! Scuba diving is also a popular past time on the island, as is hiking around its scenic pine forests. Many visitors also enjoy checking out the filming locations of Mamma Mia on guided tours.
