If on the other hand you’re looking for cheap hotels in Flagstaff, many of these can be found east of downtown along Route 66, or south along Milton Road.

Around 40 minutes by car from Flagstaff, you’ll find the similarly bustling town of Williams. Billing itself as the ‘gateway to the Grand Canyon’, you can take a spectacularly scenic train ride from here straight to one of the world’s great natural wonders. In the town itself, you’ll find all manner of quirky shops, friendly diners and reasonably priced hotels.

 

How to get a Great Deal on Flagstaff Hotels

Demand for hotels in Flagstaff is at its highest during the warm summer months of June to August, although prices start to creep up in May. If you’re planning to visit during this period, be sure to book well in advance, and use dealchecker to find the best room rates.
