There are tons of glamorous and high-end restaurants scattered around London, many of which are known for their celebrity clientele. As you can imagine, many of these restaurants are notoriously expensive, but they usually offer fine food and chic interiors. If you’d like to find out about some celebrity frequented restaurants in the big smoke, keep reading.

Harry Styles

Rumour has it that Mr Styles is a big fan of one of London’s quirkiest restaurants Sketch! You’ll probably recognise its highly Instagrammable interiors, which feature futuristic egg pod toilets and a forest-themed dining room. Harry Styles has reportedly visited this enchanting venue a number of times, alongside James Corden and Nick Grimshaw. The pop star has also been spotted dining in the more understated Lemonia in Primrose Hill. This tranquil restaurant serves Greek cuisine and is decorated with foliage and hanging vines, transporting its visitors to sunnier shores.

Kate Moss

Kate Moss has been known to dine in a variety of London restaurants, however the one that crops up the most is 34 Mayfair, a chic eatery that specialises in modern grill cuisine. In addition to Kate Moss, Kate Middleton has also been spotted dining at this luxurious venue.

Another of the supermodel’s favourite spots is Chiltern Firehouse,  an exclusive Marylebone hotel and restaurant owned by André Balazs. Moss has been seen dining here a number of times, and it’s apparently one of her favourite eateries. Meghan Markle has also been spotted at this venue — apparently it was the location of the afterparty following the royal wedding.

Elton John

A London venue frequently associated with icon Elton John is Le Caprice. Although the St James’s restaurant was adored by both Elton John and Princess Diana, the restaurant never reopened following the pandemic. Since then, the singer has been spotted dining in Nobu in Mayfair — a world-famous Japanese restaurant co-owned by Robert De Niro! While the Malibu branch is probably the most popular, other A-listers including Naomi Campbell, Cheryl Cole, Brad Pitt, and Tom Cruise have been spotted at the Mayfair branch.

Stella McCartney

The first Cecconi’s opened in London in 1978 and brought innovative Italian fare to the capital. While there are now outposts all over the world, Cecconi’s Mayfair is seemingly still the most popular amongst celebrities — apparently Stella McCartney dines there regularly. Other celebrities who have been spotted in this legendary haunt include Kate Moss, Beyoncé and JayZ, and Madonna! Stella McCartney is a devout vegan, and there are a number of vegan-friendly options on the Cecconi’s menu, which is perhaps one of the reasons as to why the fashion designer chooses to visit this Mayfair restaurant.

Naomi Campbell

Last year, Naomi Campbell hosted her birthday dinner at China Tang—a spectacular Chinese and Cantonese restaurant situated inside The Dorchester on Park Lane in Mayfair. In addition to the supermodel, other celebs including Mariah Carey, Britney Spears, Rita Ora, and Kate Moss are said to be fans of this eatery. Campbell is also a member of the exclusive private members’ club Harry’s Bar in Mayfair, and she is rumoured to drink and dine there on a regular basis.

Tom Holland

In a recent interview with The Infatuation, Spider-Man superstar Tom Holland generously divulged a few of his favourite eateries that he tends to frequent whenever he’s back in the capital. In addition to some legendary spots like J Sheekey and The River Café, Holland also named the recently-opened and seriously hyped Soho boozer The Devonshire as one of his highlights, as well as the Michelin-starred Mayfair Indian restaurant Jamavar.
