1. Algarve

With its golden beaches, rugged cliffs, friendly villages and pretty islets, the Algarve is a holiday destination that’s all too easy to fall head over heels in love with. The south coast’s sun-filled beaches attracts the masses, whereas the quiet west coast is a dream for nature lovers and in winter the whole of the Algarve boasts tranquil scenery and comfortable climes. Head inland, beyond the surf for fairy-tale castles, Roman ruins, mountain ranges and spa towns.

2. Malta

At just 316 km², Malta is a tiny jewel in the Mediterranean and makes a great holiday spot for those who like to explore destinations at ease – you’re never too far away from somewhere interesting!
