SBTRKT at the Roundhouse: 4th November 2023

Chalk Farm Rd, Chalk Farm, London NW1 8EH

Price: £28.50

There are very few things that we’ll miss a fireworks display for, but seeing SBTRKT perform live is one of them. After a seven year-long hiatus, the famously masked performer is back and with a whole new album, The Rat Road. He’ll be performing this and some of his older hits at the intimate Roundhouse on the 4th November, so be sure to pull out your comfiest dancing shoes and get ready for a boogie.

Eat At:

12:51

107 Upper St, London N1 1QN

Price: £49 per person for the five-course tasting menu

Rainy winter days call for dinners in cosy surrounds, where the food is hearty enough to warm you. That’s what James Cochran’s 12:51 offers but with a little oomph. Here, the food is elevated with an ever-changing five-course tasting menu: there are both meaty and vegetarian options, so the whole table is sure to be happy.

We like to splurge a little on payday weeks, and this month, this is how we’ll be treating ourselves.

Drink At:

The Landseer Arms

37 Landseer Rd, London N19 4JU

Very few pubs have captured our heart quite like the Landseer Arms, just off Holloway Road, has. It was the location we chose to reunite with our friends for cold shivery drinks outside as lockdowns eased, and many a boozy evening has been spent inside since. It manages to feel like a well-established local in an area where there’s a constant flow of people: the staff are friendly, the interiors are moody and Victorian, and there’s a short-but-great food menu on offer each day.
