Mystic Burek was a lockdown baby, born from recipe books that were handed down to founder Spasia from her grandmother. The Balkan pop-up has now found a forever home in Sydenham, and in addition to its divinely flaky, cheesy filo pies and indulgent sour cherry baklava buns, you’ll find bold, retro interiors—complete with red check tablecloths, framed family photos and pastel pink touches—that will make a fun background for any envy-inducing snaps.
