 Isla de Lobos

We've always stayed in the Corralejo area and seen this island but not visited it. Finally we took the plunge! It's great, there are birds to see, sharks to spot (we didn't...) and walks to go on. Take lunch if you don't want a scrum at the only kiosk on the island!

My favourite place on the island as you can really enjoy the authenticity of this, the capital. There are beaches too so you won't be left just walking about the urbanised areas.

 Cofete Beach

Wonderful secluded spot, you really feel like you've got away from it all here. The sea has strong currents so you can't do much more than wade in to cool off but still I love it here, just watch out for nudists!!

 Grand Tour

I've been to Fuerteventura a couple of times but had never really seen much of the island. We joined the bus tour and had such a fun day. We went to Tindaya Mt, and then saw where the dividing wall between N and S of the island used to be, and got to see some lovely new beaches in the south. Great!

I really wanted to see a traditional Canary village on my trip, and this didn't disappoint.l Lovely little house, a couple of windmills, all so quaint and picturesque!

Its volcanic origins are masked by expansive beaches of crisp, clean sand, yet the more intrepid explorers will be able to find evidence of the massive events which formed the island during holidays in Fuerteventura. Watersport lovers flock to this island along with sun seekers and night time revellers.

Hiring A Car In Fuerteventura

Car rental in Fuerteventura is essential if you want to get away from the beaches and explore its rugged central region where goats roam and picturesque villages squat against stunning backdrops. Fuerteventura Airport will meet your car hire needs with many rental agencies drawn from an international pool of talent, which will make it nice and simple to get to the cheap hotels Fuerteventura has to offer.

Places To Visit In Fuerteventura

Surfing, sailing and motor-powered watersports are all on offer, with world class tuition available if you are new to these activities. However, do not need any training to lie on the beach and feed on the sun and salty air all day! Things never get too crowded and if you fancy a change car hire is easy so you can head inland where local life has remained relatively unchanged, providing a genuine look at how people get by in paradise.
