Leeds has given over its centre to endless shops, cafes and restaurants and is one of the UK's best places for a bit of retail therapy thanks to extensive pedestrian zones which keep the traffic well out of the way. It's also home to some grand old buildings which hark back to its industrial past, as well as leafy suburbs where students and locals mix with ease. You can book a flight to Leeds from various airports in the UK and around Europe, with domestic flight times typically clocking in at under an hour. Of course cheap flights to Leeds will require check-in, waiting time and baggage claim at the end, but Leeds Bradford International Airport is only half an hour outside of the city. There are also cheap Leeds hotels close to the airport to minimise onwards travel duration after Leeds flights. Choosing Leeds car hire is a viable option for people who either arrive on Leeds flights or by train. Anyone who wants to avoid driving can jump on the many buses that go around the city and into the suburbs. You can buy day or week long tickets for thrifty travel during your stay. In Leeds, the Millennium Square has proven to be a very worthy public investment, hosting as it does various markets, events and activities throughout the year. The Corn Exchange has plenty of little shops and places to eat whilst Kirkgate Market is the largest of its kind in Europe and a great alternative to the high street brands which feature in other shopping areas.Flights To Leeds
