There are numerous direct flights from Birmingham to airports all over Spain, which makes planning your trip easy. Ryanair, Thomson Flights and flythomascook fly direct to the islands of Ibiza, Majorca and Tenerife in between two and four hours. If you can't find an appropriate Birmingham route, there are just as many direct services out of nearby East Midlands. Ryanair fly direct to numerous airports, including Ibiza, Reus, Majorca, Menorca, Valencia and Barcelona, so you should be able to find a journey that appeals. If you want to fly direct to Madrid, you can with Ryanair from Manchester airport.
If you want to keep your costs down when planning a holiday to Spain, avoid the peak summer months between June and September, as tourists flock to all corners of the country, pushing prices up. Consider taking an April break, as the temperatures (particularly in the south and on the islands) with still be warm and flights will be much cheaper.
You can also pick up some very cheap flights to Spain with Ryanair – as long as you book well in advance of your holiday.
