How To Get To Aspen

Aspen holidays often start at Aspen Pitkin County Airport which is only three miles from the town. Over one hundred and fifty Aspen flights use the airport weekly from cities such as Denver or Phoenix. There is a free bus service to the town organised by the hotels or you can of course drive, and Aspen car hire is easily arranged. Alternatively you can travel by Greyhound bus from Denver.

Of course, first and foremost Aspen is rightly famed for the skiing and there are four ski areas within twelve miles of the town, including Aspen Mountain. Great skiing means great scenery and during the summer months holidays to Aspen are all about enjoying the great outdoors. Around Aspen is the White River National Forest which is all public land. There are lots of great hiking trails throughout the valleys within easy reach of the town. There is also the chance to go white water rafting, horseriding and fishing, amongst many other things.
